Exploring the benefits and challenges of working together to reduce health inequalities in HEI settings
Partnership working between HEIs and Public Health teams can be beneficial to HEIs and to the populations they serve. Understanding the structure and function of Public Health Teams is of value to HEIs, as creating sustainable partnerships between the two helps to navigate constantly changing health agenda, commissioning of services and population health need.
The aim of the session is to encourage HEIs to engage with their local Public Health Teams.
